Welcome two Chapter two of the Knight legacy Drama, Theodore has met someone for the first time out of the facility. I have taken apon myself to make the chapter a bit more...longer.
Could that person be his only friend to pull him though life?
Who is this 'Mystery Lady'?
Theodore stood on his balcony of his house overlooking his little neighborhood. He stroked the non-existent stubble on his chin believing he should wander around the town, exploring and meeting the neighbors.
"So beautiful today." He said to himself taking in the fresh air from the nearby pine trees. Across the street his neighbor Erin Kennedy got her newspaper before realizing Theodore was watching her. She quickly retreated back inside her house away from Theodore's line of sight. Theodore dug in his pocket receiving the ear mic and turned it on.
"Hey, Theo." Violet replied to the buzz from the mic. "How's it going?"
"Tell me the rules." Theodore demanded from Violet.
"Theo, I can't." She sighed "Go to the park, I know you want to. Call a cab and i'll pay for it." She changed the subject. Theodore didn't refuse to her offer and called the nearest cab.
Theodore hailed a cab and sat in the back seat. Theodore tried not to start a conversation with the driver, or just to stay to himself other than annoying someone who can drive you into a pole. The driver pulled up into the park and reached her hand back for the money.
"Here." Theodore placed the card Violet sent in the mail to give to him.
"What am I suppose to do with this?" He grunted crumpling the card.
"Call the number." Theodore said leaving the cab. "Have a nice day." He smiled towards the grumpy cab driver.
Theodore found himself closer to the children playground equipment than the chess tables. He took to himself to take a seat on the rusty swing set, the metal's paint was falling off on the ground as he swayed.
"I haven't been on one of these in years." He grinned like a child.
"Oh Theo, Happy I brought you here?" Violet buzzed in joyfully as much as Theodore.
Theodore overlooked the park watching the many family's have a picnic or play with their siblings. By the fountain a young woman sat alone with a head set on to Theodore's conclusion she was listening to music.
Curiosity brought Theodore closer to the woman.
"Hey Sweetheart." Theodore approached the woman a few feet away his ear mic buzzed. The woman turned her head towards Theodore as he listened closely.
"Found a woman by the park fountain, I see." She chuckled
"How do you, you little stalker." He laughed at himself
"Look ahead at the woman and watch her mouth." Theodore turned his attention the woman and smirked at the hot body.
"Hello Theo." The woman smiled warmly, the same words echoed in Theodore's ear making him step back in awe.
"Violet?"
"Never seen a woman as hot as me before?" She responded at his question. She raised her fingers to her forehead signing off. Instead of Theodore freaking out he edge closer to her with a smile on his face.
"Oh Violet Isn't this against the rules?" Theodore asked worried for her safety.
"What rules?" She smirked "I as you can say quit."
Theodore wrapped his arms around her and grinned. Violet frowned at the hug and backed away.
She gave him a loving, sympathetic look. Her eyes gleamed towards him longing for love,
"I know you been rejected before but a lot is going on right now." She trailed off looking away to the side.
Theodore grabbed her hand and brought her attention at him, his face full of emotions feeling for her. Without words to speak, Violet and Theodore were alone in the park, nothing moved and howls from the wind grew silent.
"Tell me Violet and I'll tell you what happened the facility told you wrong." He stated leading her over to the chess table.
The both took their seats and faced each other searching for who would speak first.
"Violet, the story they told you about my parents is false. I didn't murder them, I would have never killed them. Besides they where the only family next to my brother, Marcus. Marcus left me alone when they accused me, I would hope to never see him again. My parents were suicidal." The last word came out harshly quiet.
Violet sat there letting the words sink in she took a deep breath and told her story.
"Theo, My dad, Frankie has been going though some hard times. You see he is getting mentally and physically not possible to hang on, I wish he could let go." She didn't tear up she told the truth and Theodore felt the same way.
"See that over there?" Theodore questioned pointing to the building behind her "I'll take you there. My treat." Theodore smiled, took Violet's hand and took a stroll over to the building covered in vines.
